I know performing updates can be a chore. Microsoft knows this, too.
A recent update to Windows 11 (version 24H2) should make updates a bit easier to manage.
How? Well, instead of having one big update once a month, Microsoft is going to provide much smaller updates more frequently. That’s the thought, anyway.
Microsoft is calling it “Checkpoint Cumulative Updates.” Small tweaks to the system, little pieces at a time.
What does this mean to you? Simple. Less time waiting so you can get back to work. And doesn’t consume so much internet to knock you off your video call.
The best part. There’s nothing you need to do. It should all happen automatically. Keyword: should.
This clever change in updates will only apply to Windows 11 and the upcoming Windows Server 2025.
