Why we don't have a store front

We started out servicing business and residential clients on behalf of “big box” retailers, long before the “Squad” was around.  We still do this at some capacity, but also market our services directly to customers.

While we don’t have a place for you to drop off your computer, we make up for it by doing the same service at your location.  All of our technicians are Microsoft Certified, and our rates are almost always at a better rate.

What if I just need a diagnosis?

In many cases, a free phone call to one of our technicians can be all the diagnosis you need.  Just tell one of our techs the symptoms you are experiencing and, based on our experience, we can give a good idea of the possible scenarios and anticipated costs.

In some cases, we can schedule a diagnosis visit.  This visit is free as long as you proceed with any of the service options we offer.  Otherwise a small diagnosis fee would be required (see our pricing page).  If we show up and cannot offer a solution, you pay nothing.  You can see the theme here: if there’s a way to save you money, we’ll find it.

What is your service area?

We service the Gainesville area.  We do have an extended service area that covers all of Alachua county, but additional trip charges may apply.

What if I am not in your service area?

With your permission, we can log into your computer and remotely repair your computer.  Remote Service allows you to get your computer fixed on the spot. The remote support program that we use allows you, the customer, to have complete control over access of your computer.

In some cases, we’ve made exceptions if you are outside of Alachua county.  Just give us a call.

  • I was very fortunate to find Geek3 in the Yellow pages and contacted them about straightening out problems between three different computers in my office. I spoke to Geek3 on the first call (and not an answering machine) and they were able to book an appointment the next day.  I am referred to as the “techno wizard” (a joke of course) and Erik was able to instruct me as to what my problems were, the solutions he had to repair them and offer additional suggestions as to how to make my system work faster and more efficient therefore saving me time and money. I’ve spent countless hours that have mounted to days trying to “fix the problems” myself, but Erik did in a couple hours what I never could have accomplished. I will always call him when I have a problem and have already referred him to several people since yesterday. He is very patient and he does not intimidate the “non-computer tech” person and explains and offers which meant the world to me after all of my frustrations. I highly recommend Geek3 and feel so fortunate that I have established a working relationship with them.

  • I want to thank Erik at Geek 3 for assisting me at a time when I was at a loss  They assisted with evaluating my existing computer as well as the selection of a new laptop to meet my needs. I am not a techy and was so relieved with how easy he made this process. I now call him the “computer whisperer”. He makes home visits that meet my schedule, he is very patient, talks In layman terms that I can understand and does not make me feel stupid for all the questions I ask!  I no longer am so intimidated by all of this technology because I know who to call. My computer somehow caught a virus that made it impossible to browse the web and would spontaneously shut down without notice. They fixed it within a day and I swear it runs better than it ever did.
