We've been impressed with every Apple update and Snow Leopard is no exception.  Apple did a lot of work on system stability and also released a few extra features.  Priced at only $24.99, (buy here) it's an excellent upgrade to most Apple computers purchased in the last five years. 

CS3.  We did hear the news about the lack of compatibility with Adobe CS3.  In September 2009, Adobe released an update saying they tested CS3 on Snow Leopard and found most CS3 programs do not seem to be affected.

A: Yes, yes, yes.

If you don't already have AppleCare, you have one year from the purchase of your Apple product to get it.  It is affordable and well worth the investment.  You never know what could happen to your product and since Apple is a bit on the pricey side, it is better to invest in AppleCare than to be surprised at what Apple can charge you for repair and service.

Our advice: If you are going to purchase, do not upgrade the Memory (RAM), do not add/upgrade any Hard Drive, do not purchase the discounted printer and always, always, always purchase the AppleCare option.  You can almost always save by purchasing from a direct vendor (such as MacMall).  If you need any of the upgrades, let us know and we can install the exact same solution Apple offers for a fraction of the cost.
